Platform

One loop: delivery in, funder-ready evidence out

CauseCore is five connected modules, not five separate tools. Below is what each one does, what it connects to, and how data moves between them.

Delivery

Programs and projects

A program is the strategic commitment you made to a funder. Projects are the workstreams that deliver it. Events, enrolments and attendance hang off the project, so progress reflects what actually happened rather than what someone typed into a tracker.

  • Projects nested under programs, with owners and dates
  • Events created automatically from registration files
  • Budget, funding source and status per program
  • Per-project board of participants, volunteers, surveys and charts

Records

Participants and volunteers

Two related but distinct records: participants are the people benefiting, volunteers are the people delivering. Both carry contact details, location, history and engagement count so you can see who is returning and who dropped off.

  • Email, phone, location and accessibility needs
  • Programs and projects each person has taken part in
  • Volunteer hours, skills and training
  • Filter by program, project, year and number of times engaged

Collection

Surveys, imports and stories

Evidence arrives three ways: a survey you send, a file someone exported, or a story a participant told you. All three land against the same records, so nothing sits in an unlinked folder.

  • Survey builder with public links and QR codes
  • Responses attached to the participant, project and event
  • Spreadsheet import with record-type detection and de-duplication
  • Stories promoted from survey responses after your review

Measurement

KPIs and outcome frameworks

Set the target a funder asked for and let delivery data move it. Each KPI is scoped to a program or project, so two programs can track the same indicator without ambiguity.

  • Targets per program or project with live progress
  • Inputs → activities → outputs → outcomes framework
  • Dashboard summary of what is on and off target
  • Every figure drills back to the underlying records

Reporting

Funder and board reporting

Choose a reporting period and audience and get a structured draft built from your own records — delivery figures, outcome movement and participant voice, each traceable to the rows behind it. You edit and send; nothing is published on your behalf.

  • Annual, grant, board and partner report structures
  • Survey and story themes summarised with source counts
  • PDF export
  • Draft, review and edit before anything leaves the workspace

What each integration actually does

Data comes in through file imports and a webhook endpoint. No connector requires you to rebuild the way your team already collects information.

Google Forms & Sheets

Export or share the response sheet and import it. Existing people are matched on email, so a repeat respondent updates their record instead of creating a duplicate.

Excel & CSV

Any export from a legacy database or tracker. The importer detects whether the file is participants, volunteers or event registrations, then proposes a column mapping you approve.

Eventbrite

Attendee exports become the event, its registrations and its attendance in one pass. Upload registrations first, then the attended list, and attendance is reconciled against who signed up.

Zeffy

Ticket and registration exports import the same way as Eventbrite, including concession and ticket-type fields mapped to attendance status.

Mailchimp

Audience exports import as participant contact records so mailing-list members can be linked to the programs they actually attended.

Webhooks

A public endpoint you can point a form tool, booking system or automation platform at, so registrations arrive without a manual upload step. Requests are validated before anything is written.
